On June 30th, Jupiter, the great benefic, entered the sign of Leo. I commemorated the event with a fun Instagram post. At least I thought it was fun, but not everyone shares my sense of humour.
You may have noticed your Leo friends walking with even more swag as Jupiter in Leo ushers in a new chapter of confidence, creative expression, and bold self-belief for the year ahead. For those with Ascendants, Midheavens, Suns or Moons in Leo especially, this shift can feel like a breath of fresh confidence after a period of battening down the hatches, a chance to step forward more visibly, take creative risks, and reconnect with possibility. Of course, Leo never really needs help with luck and charisma… but a Jupiter boost in their own sign can make life feel like it’s conspiring in their favour in very tangible ways this year.
While cardinal signs have been benefiting from Jupiter in Cancer over the last year, now the fixed signs will feel Jupiter’s influence. Speaking generally and using a whole sign house system which I find beneficial when discussing major planetary ingresses, we can say that:
- Scorpio Ascendants will have Jupiter transiting their 10th house of career and may get some opportunities coming their way to expand their professional life and reputation.
- Aquarius Ascendants will have Jupiter in their 7th house; it may be a beneficial time to connect with others and a serious relationship may grow.
- Taurus Ascendants will have Jupiter transiting their 4th house of home and may find that their home and private life expands in a positive way.
- Leo Ascendants will have Jupiter transiting the first house of themselves which is affiliated with personal growth, taking self-improvement courses, travelling and saying yes a bit more.
Jupiter will remain in the sign of Leo until July 27, 2027.
Where is Jupiter transiting in your chart and how do you plan on using it?
I’m a Taurus rising and you better believe I am taking advantage of that expansive energy. I recently moved and am still settling into an apartment, but having come from a house, I have many extra gardening items I wouldn’t need to end up storing for years. My dear friend just moved to a house so I get to share the items AND help her bring a yard to life with lights and other decorations. Life tried to box me in and I’m embracing the minimalist lifestyle without having to give up the opportunity to fill space with beautiful stuff! Lucky me
Aw, thanks for sharing S! 🙂
