Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

I put hours of preparation into each session. I often book quite far in advance because I am only capable of doing a certain number of sessions a week. Once a session is booked and paid for, that is my green light to start working with your chart and the information you have provided me. In addition, the appointment time that I have booked with you is now blocked off in my schedule no longer available to other clients.

For these reasons, I have had to make the following policies:

• If you would like to reschedule your consultation, and it is more than 72 hours (3 days) before your scheduled consult, you may reschedule your appointment time without any additional charges.
• If you would like to reschedule your appointment, and it is less than 72 hours (3 days) before your scheduled consult, there will be a $50 re-booking fee. Obviously, sudden illness or personal emergencies do come up, and I absolutely take this into account.
• Once payment has been taken, no refunds are available, unless your scheduled consult is more than one month away, and I have not started work on your chart. This includes rectification sessions. I get charged significant fees for online payments, so if I am able to give you a refund, it will always be less the fees I pay.
• A “no show” (if you miss your appointment time and have not been in touch with me) means your session is forfeited. (A “no show” is defined as being 20 minutes or more late.) If you miss your session without notifying me, rescheduling your session will mean repurchasing the service. Please remember that I am located in the Eastern time zone (Toronto/New York). This will be detailed in all our correspondence together; however, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that you do the proper time zone conversion so that you show up to our scheduled consultation at the right time.
• Refunds of any kind are not available after a consultation.

It’s taken me over a decade to formalize this policy because I’m a very understanding person. But given my current (and foreseeable) schedule, I need to formalize these policies so that no one’s time (mine) or money (yours) is wasted.
